Notifications is a list of everything Worksong sent to your phone, kept so you can also read it on the web and the desktop. If you dismissed a banner or you work at a desk, you do not lose it.

Open the inbox

  • Phone: the bell in the header of Home.
  • Desktop browser: Notifications in the left rail.
The bell shows how many are unread. It shows “9+” above nine on the phone.

What lands here

  • An approval card from an Agent.
  • A message from an Agent in a chat you were not looking at.
  • A task that needs you (an Agent asked a question or escalated).
  • A notice that an Agent used its daily limit of Computer and sandbox time.
A routine that ran quietly never sends a notification and is never listed. A message that your phone skipped (the phone shows at most one banner per chat per minute) is still listed here. Rows older than 30 days are deleted. Rows of an Agent you deleted are not shown.

Needs you

At the top, Needs you lists what is still waiting for you right now: pending approvals and tasks that need you, newest first. It is read from your open work, so a card you decided anywhere leaves this list at once.
  • A simple card (a command, a sandbox command or a plain tool call whose whole ask fits on the row) can be handled on the row. Tap Approve to allow this one request, or Deny.
  • Anything that needs more care shows only Open. That includes phone calls (you can edit the brief), tool or app access, secrets, spend requests, new Agents, messages sent outside, and writes to a connected app.
  • A standing rule such as “Always allow” is never offered on a row.
Below it, Updates lists the other rows, grouped by day. Repeats from one Agent in one chat are one row with a count. Open it to go to the chat and mark them all read, or expand it to see each one.

Read and unread

  • A row opens where it came from: the chat, the approval or the task.
  • A decided approval says Approved or Denied.
  • Use the All and Unread chips to filter. Mark all as read is in the header. Load older notifications pages further back.
  • What you handled anywhere counts as read everywhere. If you approve a card in the chat, its row is read on your other devices too.
  • The app marks rows read only while the screen is in front of you.
  • The icon badge on your phone follows the bell. The notification tray drops what you read.

What a notification says

An approval notification has the Agent’s name as the title and the ask as the text, for example “Run a command: npm run deploy” or “Send a WhatsApp message to Dana”.
  • If an Agent asks several times within two minutes, only the first one makes a sound. The next ones are silent and say “N requests waiting”.
  • On the third request for the same tool from one Agent in a day, the text ends with “Always allow is available”. See Approvals.

Allow alerts on your phone

In Profile > Notifications (desktop: Settings > Notifications) turn on notifications for this device. The browser does not show alerts: everything the app sends to a phone is kept in the inbox. Web push alerts and per-kind preferences are not available.
