Work overview

What Work is, how it is organized, and how Agents take part.

Work is where you model your own processes, with no code. You build Boards, give them typed Columns, and fill them with Items. You automate with Automations, and you decide what people and Agents may do with Authority, Gates and Limits. Everything done is written to an audit log.

Building blocks

Block	What it is
Workspace	A group of boards inside your organization.
Board	A table of Items with typed Columns. Boards can also have views, forms, docs and a dashboard.
Item	One row. Its values live in the columns.
Automation	A rule: when something happens, do something.
Gate	A rule that holds an action until a person approves.
Member	A person or an Agent who can act in the workspace.

One boundary for every change

Every change, from the app, from an Agent, or from the API, goes through the same path: sign-in, then permission check (authority, gates and limits together), then validation, then audit, then the change. There is no private route for the app and no side door for Agents.

Inside Worksong

In the Worksong app, Work is a tab. You sign in once. Work is on in the web app and the phone app.
