# Files and projects

> Where files live and how projects group chats.

**My files** lists files from your chats and tasks. Filter it by **All**, **Chats**, **Groups**, **Tasks**, **Projects**, **Agents**, **Kept**, **Links** or **Trash**; with nothing yet it says "No files yet". A file can be placed in more than one place (a chat, a task, an Agent's files); deleting the original removes it everywhere it was placed.

A **project** is a key you attach to Conversations. The project page lists its Conversations, saved files and project memories. To set one up, see [Group chats in a project](/guides/group-chats-in-a-project.md).
