# Activity and Insights

> What your Agents did, and how much work each one did over time.

Activity is the record of what every Agent did in your workspace. It has two views: **Events** (what happened) and **Insights** (how much work, over time).

Open it from **Profile > Activity** on the phone, or **Activity** in the left rail on the desktop. Use the **Events | Insights** toggle at the top to switch.

## Events

Events lists, newest first, every tool call, approval, routine run and budget stop. Use the Agent picker (**All agents**) to look at one Agent, and the chips to look at one kind of event. A chip appears only for kinds that occur in the events loaded.

| Chip | What it holds |
| - | - |
| Shell | Commands an Agent ran |
| Tools | Calls to tools and connected apps |
| Browser | Pages an Agent opened |
| Computer | Computer sessions |
| Approvals | Approvals you decided |
| Routines | Routine runs |
| Memory | Changes to memory |
| Agent edits | Changes to an Agent's settings |
| Budget | Runs stopped by a budget |
| New agents | Agents created |
| Messages | Messages an Agent sent outside Worksong |
| No reply | A run that finished with no answer |

**Actions** groups Shell, Tools, Browser and Computer in one chip when more than one of them is present.

Tap an event to see its details, including the technical detail. Tap **Load older events** to go further back. Events are the audit trail: they cannot be edited from the app.

## Insights

Insights shows how much work each Agent did: **Tokens**, **Actions**, **Runs** and **Turns**.

* Pick **24 hours**, **7 days**, **30 days** or a **Custom** range. For the custom range, write both days as `YYYY-MM-DD`; the last day cannot be before the first (it is refused), and a range can be at most 366 days.
* The top cards show the total, the most active Agent, the average per day and how many Agents were active. Each shows the change against the previous period, which is as long as the one you picked and ends where it starts. If there was nothing before, it shows a dash instead of a percentage. The arrow is neutral on purpose: red and green already mean failure and success in the app.
* The chart shows the four most active Agents with their own letter (A to D). All other active Agents are grouped as **Other**. **View as table** shows the same numbers in a table.
* An Agent with no activity in the range is listed in the table, greyed out, and is not counted as active.
* Tap an Agent to open a sheet with its rank and its numbers compared with the previous period.

How the numbers are counted:

* **Tokens** are input plus output. Cached tokens are not counted. Do not compare tokens across different models.
* **Actions** are tool calls an Agent made.
* **Runs** and **Turns** are the number of runs and the turns inside them.
* A run counts fully in the time slot where it started. A run from 23:50 to 00:20 belongs to the earlier day, with its actions and turns.
* Days follow your time zone (see [Settings and account](https://docs.worksong.ai/worksong/settings-and-account.md)).

> [!NOTE]
>
> Token totals before 15 October 2026 can be too high for Agents that had long conversations. A range that reaches back past that date overstates their tokens. Runs, actions and turns are not affected.
